This one-half reale dime sized silver cob was minted at the Lima Mint in 1750 during the reign of Ferdinand VI of Spain. It features the monogram of Phillip V on the obverse with the date below. The reverse features a Crusader's Cross with lions and castle. The coin was recovered from an unnamed shipwreck in the Caribbean, as evidenced by the seawear. It is mounted in a heavy 14 kt. yellow gold bezel with a barrel hoop at the top. This treasure coin comes with a certificate of authenticity and is gauranteed to be genuine.
