Two Escudo Gold Doubloon Coin

Two Escudo Gold Doubloon Coin

This gold cob was hand struck using crude die during the reign of Phillip IIII of Spain. A nearly full shield and a portion of the mintmark are visible on the obverse. The reverse has a great Crusader's Cross with Flur-d-lis. These coins are fast disappearing from public view as they are snapped up by jewelers as fast as they are found. The value has increased steadily for years, due in part to this demand and the nearly doubling of the Euro in value as well. Don't miss this exceptional coin at this low price.
